Composetheway is a genre-bending chamber ensemble led & founded by Jordyn Davis. What began as a solo singer-songwriter project, created to express her reflections on the importance of self-love & empowerment, has evolved into a malleable musical experience rooted in collaborative performance, composition & improvisation.
With the aim of expressing her ideas on self-love, empowerment and personal reflection, her debut EP “Connections” was independently released in 2017 and in 2020 was nominated for three WYCE Jammie Music Awards. Composetheway won “Most Inspirational Performance” at the 2019 Social Justice Arts Festival at Michigan State University & recently released a new single entitled “Night Off'“ available on all major music distribution platforms.
